HMTV Canada: Hi Helalyn Flowers How are you? The design and wealth of information at your main web is awesome. How did you come up with your band name Helalyn Flowers and how long have you known each other?

Helalyn Flowers: It’s Max who came out with that name. It obsessed him for some days like a mantra until he proposed it to N0emi as the band s name. We just split up our previous band The Claw and were searching for a name able to fully reflect our true spirit.  Helalyn is an archaic English term which stands for hidden zone. A sort of B-zone that after vulgarly became hell. It’s arid and desolated and flowers (seen as vital source) can’t grow on them. It’s something absurd but we are absurd! We are against conventional life, we know no rules and we strongly believe in our energy! We are alien to and in this world. So, we are the flowers that grow on the ground they wouldn’t.

HMTV Canada: When did you form your band? What inspired you to make music together and who are your current band members?

Helalyn Flowers:  As told before, we split up our previous band in 2004 because we were terribly tired of all those musical cowards and hobbyists who used to play with us. So, we decided to continue as a duo since our synergy is absolute, as well as our will to create something never seen or heard before. Our reciprocal esteem and awareness of our capacities and talents was the only true input to the band s starting. We two are and will be the only core and motor of Helalyn Flowers, depicting of other musicians who accompany us on stage!

HMTV Canada: Tell us about your unique style of music your major influences? How has your music evolved or changed since you first began playing? Who writes your songs?

Helalyn Flowers: What you listen is the summa of all our influences and likes. It’s like a kind of filter if you want.  When we began Helalyn Flowers, we were so much influenced by soundtracks like Queen Of The Damned, Spawn, Resident Evil and others, great albums like Mechanical Animals,  Untouchables and  Ultra  plus Bjork, Miranda Sex Garden and other fantastic early 90s Alternative stuff. You know, we are true music-lovers and listen to a very big variety of genres. It doesn’t care the style but how much we like it. The earlier influences have been increased and not replaced at all! All Helalyn Flowers s songs are written by both us. Generally Max starts with a riff or with a rough draft of arrangement and together we see what works and what doesn’t and what we want to add or delete.  Then N0emi adds lyrics and vocals, but often it happens that we start from a N0emi s vocal part to arrange the whole track. There are no rules in this process!

HMTV Canada: What can you tell us about your instruments brand are you subject to brand loyalty or will you play whatever s available? What kind of recording environment do you have?

Helalyn Flowers: Since we aren’t sponsored yet by any brand, we won’t name our brands, ah-ah!

HMTV Canada: Where have you performed? What is your favorite and least favorite venues? Do you have any upcoming shows?

Helalyn Flowers: We played our last show in a Fest in Italy and it was a shame. Unable engineers and really bad organization. Continuous technical problems even during the show, until in the middle of the fourth track we leave the stage. But our performance was great and we tried to maintain our professionalism high despite of the technical problems. Unfortunately, this kind of things happen too much times in Italy, a country in which everyone is an improvised and rogue! We wait for the albums coming out to deal with a foreign booking agency for Europe. Our upcoming shows are all in Italy until next January.

HMTV Canada: Do you have a record label? Are you a member of any organizations? Can you tell us about your latest CD release, anything from messages to inspirations, your biggest challenge as a band.

Helalyn Flowers: Our debut-album A Voluntary Coincidence will be out on November 9, via Alfa-Matrix. This album is pretty different from what we did in the past and at the same time it holds each component of our sound that is actually known to the public. It includes 11 tracks (also E-Race Generation and Voices, which are the only two already edited tracks, even if re-recorded and re-mastered this time) and the official title is A Voluntary Coincidence. Also, a limited-edition version will be out. It will be a box including gadgets to be defined plus a bonus disc with remixes. The opening track is Eye for a Day, the harder song of the album together with DGTal Blood . You can find metal guitars, mixed with hard electronics beats and alienating vocals. In this song frames of daily life are seen under the viewpoint of an eye itself, without being filtered by the human mind, seeing things in an absolutely direct and uncorrupted way.  DGTal Blood is a song dedicated to all the ones who never believed in me and would stop my passions. Nothing and no-one can stop your will if you really want. In songs like I’m human, defective, My girlfriend insanity,  Tide Line  and  Silent Conversation, synth-pop influences are combined with rock guitars and a very pop approach for the vocals.  I’m Human, defective is a dialogue of a human life, speaking about its mistakes, defects and lacks, which suggests us to see the human race like a neglected experiment.  My Girlfriend insanity is a song that I feel very intimate. Many times, it happens that no-one can understand your state of mind, neither yourself I feel insanity like something so visceral, hidden and penetrating That’s the only thing, which totally knows yourself. For this, I feel Her my girlfriend.  Silent Conversation is a song which describes a dialogue with my inner self, and Tide Line speaks about a very hard period I lived, like I was the onlooker of my own drowning.  A Sweet and Deep Bomb In My Heart is the song, which more represents Helalyn Flowers sound. It’s full of odd orchestrations and a warm atmosphere that we really love! Here guitars change a lot sound, from hard-rock to industrial, and vocals are popper and infectious. This song is a reflection on life, corruption and hypocrisy. It speaks about the will to disappear and wake up in a brand-new world without religions, politics and lies.  Alice In My Chamber is together with E Race Generation one of the more electro-influenced but with a punk approach which gives to the song freshness and peculiarity. In this case, I used a popular icon,  Alice , to represent fantastic world, where everything can happen. Mine is a provocation, I defied Alice to come in my secret chamber to try and find things impossible to find neither in her fairy tale! Yes, I described a part of my mind that makes me afraid, impossible to stop, impossible to hold at bay...  E-Race Generation and Voices are already popular in the clubs worldwide. In E-Race Generation (For E, I mean the electronic. I called electronic race the new generation, which day-by-day becomes addicted to the fake, the artificial and feelingless things) I speak about a woman who works as business agent of a new pill which contains different feelings and short fragments of life. It’s the ideal for people that are not enough brave to risk living their own life.

HMTV Canada: What are some of the highlights of Helalyn Flowers your goals where you hope to be in 5 years with your band your ultimate direction and how your fans are currently reacting to your music?

Helalyn Flowers: Our goal is continuing to make the only music we love and want to listen to, that is ours! We want to be recognized as an universal band, because our music is universal. We are beyond genres, scenes and lifestyles. We are ourselves. We don t even care to be diverse, we are evidence. Our fans welcome this and we are very happy and pleased to collect every day fans from all over the world who are truly devoted to Helalyn Flowers and who are not just the many Myspace-gorgeous-hot-stunning-phenomenon.  Where we hope to be in 5 years? If people will let us become rich, we will be fat, depressed, viced and alcohol/drugs-addicted, so maybe in some clinic? Ah-ah, f**k Rock n Roll attitude!

HMTV Canada: Do you have any remixes or are working on any? Compilation experiences good or bad ones?

Helalyn Flowers: Max already remixed UK act Unter Nulls This Is Your End that has been published on the successful 4CD Box F**k The Mainstream Vol.1, in which we appear with E-Race Generation too. His remix is very different than the original one that was vey in the Harsh-EBM/Industrial style. He took the only clean female vocal part to give life to a new song over again. It came out an energic mix of classical instruments like piano, harp, violins and viola and an electro drum-ground. It was well welcomed by both band and label, even if it’s not oonz-oonz at all. Less provocatory than expected! Actually, we are not working on any remixes and neither we are interested to!

HMTV Canada: What do you think of the current Gothic/EBM/Industrial/ Noise/ Synthpop/ Metal music scene today? Are you affiliated with any dark underground scenes like Vampire Freaks?

Helalyn Flowers: We don’t like scenes. We don’t care of them. We are simply interested to play our music and to reach more people as possible. Underground is just an index of fame and nothing else. There is too much philosophy, idealism and rules in the underground scenes. That is really stupid. Vampire Freaks is another useful to show us off and thanks to them we got in contact with Alfa-Matrix and signed with them!

HMTV Canada: From your experience is there a way bands interact with each other or does it depend on something? An Example of this Question: There are bands that are just starting out, bigger bands will try hard to promote their friends and there are bands that are cool with cross promoting each other in spite of all the pressure.  Do you have any friends that are doing something really exciting in the music scene that you think people should be aware of?

Helalyn Flowers: Nowadays people think that the Myspace s Top 8 exchange is enough. Well, we don’t. The term help has a strong value for us. We are always ready to help our most intimate friends who play to emerge.  Cooperation between bands is something almost non-existing here in Italy. There is a lot of envy and avidity.

HMTV Canada: How do you like our music site at Hollywood Music TV? What advice do you have for people who want to form their own bands?

Helalyn Flowers: First of all, please verify how much you believe in music. If you are music-hobbyists or have other goals in life (all respectable!) just do it for fun and to fulfill your free-time. But don’t expect heaven for this. If you have the fire inside play the music you want to listen and that you are not able to find around. Be your own fave band. Don’t care about what people think of you, just go straight on your way. Avoid covers. The common credence of initially playing covers to reach a higher ability on your instrument, so that you are able then to write your own songs is pure crap!!! Be free.

HMTV Canada: There is a kind of ancient connection vibe to singer, songwriters, something that ties the bands to write about their personal experiences’ inspirations, worst experiences while performing or travelling, do you ever collaborate on these experiences in your music?

Helalyn Flowers:  I don’t use talking about my personal experiences in our songs, even if daily life is a big inspiration source. But I use losing in my mind and talking about histories and visions I live in my virtual world. It’s something abstract that is strictly connected to my personal experiences, but not explicitly. Most of HF lyrics refer to states of hallucination, feelings and visualizations that determined objects or elements may live. Like in Eye For A Day, for example, (included in our forthcoming debut-album), where frames of daily life are seen under the viewpoint of an eye itself, without being filtered by the human mind, seeing things in an absolutely direct and uncorrupted way. Or in I’m Human, defective  that it is a dialogue of a human life, speaking about its mistakes, defects and lacks which suggest us to see the human race like an experiment, maybe still incomplete?

HMTV Canada: Is there anyone special you would like to acknowledge, and any last words?

Helalyn Flowers: We did that in our album’s credits, thanks and dedications. Don’t believe in the rules of music scenes, go beyond and you will be the new gods. Be yourself!

HMTV Canada: Helalyn Flowers, thank you for taking the time to complete HMTV s Canada s Online Ezine Interview. -You Rock.

Helalyn Flowers: Thank you for this pleasant conversation and for the warm support! We wish you all the best in life. Love& Respect-Max N0emi_Helalyn Flowers.

HMTV Canada Tina Interviews Askura’s Nastasya

www.last.fm/music/NASTASYA/Lazy-Crazy

HMTV Canada: Hi Nastasya How are you doing?

Nastasya: Thanks! I'm just fine. I'm really glad, that you decided to interview me.

HMTV Canada: Are you working on any new songs currently?

Nastasya: Yeah! The work over my first album is in progress. I've just recorded a new song 2 weeks ago! It's song - ballade "Wake Up me". I like this song.

Probably it not modestly, but truth, this song lives in my heart.

HMTV Canada: What age did you start your music career and where did you study?

Nastasya: As daddy has told to me, I sang, when I could not speak yet. I never visited a professional musical school... In my primary school, I even tried to compose some songs. But I've started singing seriously 2 years ago, when has met Askura_Alexander. I started to attend piano classes.

HMTV Canada: Was there a special person in your life that encouraged and inspired you to pursue you singing?

Nastasya: Occasionally it was my dad. He encouraged me to start singing. I think, he will support me and further.

Askura_Alexander was the first who has told to me: "You will be a good singer". And now I start to realize his words seriously.

HMTV Canada: Did you play any musical instruments?

Nastasya: Yeap ... A piano!

HMTV Canada: What do you consider your musical influences to be?

Nastasya: We are often influenced by sentiment. I do not know. But I feel need for music. I live with the constant desire to sing for people. Probably some Source sends me this fine desire. And also, great world singers influence my creativity.

Nastasya: Well! I was really lucky to meet Alex Shkuratov, who is my musical producer. And he is the one, who writes most of the songs!

HMTV Canada: Are you currently attending College or University?

Nastasya: Yes. I'm studding the international department of the Finance Academy under the government of Russian federation!

HMTV Canada: What are you majoring in for Career Goals?

Nastasya: At my age it is very difficult to answer your question. The life frequently presents the surprises.

I hope, that the destiny will be favorable to me.

In this case I shall come to you to Canada with my live performance.

HMTV Canada: Do you have any spiritual influences in your music?

Nastasya: Yes, the space of music is filled by spiritual energy. And I have happiness to be in this spiritual space of music.

HMTV Canada:  Are you working on any Demo or Full Length CD's currently?

Nastasya: Well, at present we create with Askura_Alexander my first solo album in my life.

HMTV Canada: What is your motivation for making music?

Nastasya: I like it! I want to bring happiness to other people with the help of my music!

HMTV Canada: Do you have certain principles or use certain styles when composing your sounds?

Nastasya: If you speak about my vocal style, I sing as prompts me heart, my feelings and style of songs.

I do not want to imitate somebody, using another's stylistics.

HMTV Canada: Do you have any favorite local bands or artists?

Nastasya: No, local bands or artists are not interesting for me. In Russia there are talented musicians, but their way is very thorny.

HMTV Canada: Is there any group composer style or movement which has a lasting effect for inspiration in your music making - song writing process?

Nastasya: I cannot list all. In the world many interesting musicians, groups, singers who I like. They form world culture and I analyze this Process.

HMTV Canada: Which music site is your favorite for promoting your music?

Nastasya: My favorite it's Myspace.com and Hollywood Music TV Canada.

I like Last Fm Radio, Discover stars, The Bit Fm Radio, VM Radio, Bebo, Streetmusiq, etc.

I am very grateful to you, Hollywood Music TV Canada, that you help young Artists like me, to be heard in this world.

HMTV Canada: Any plans for making a video in 2008?

Nastasya: Yes, in the nearest future I am going to make video on "Lazy-crazy!" I think this video and this song will be very successful.

HMTV Canada: What do you think of the music industry today and what is the music scene like in Russia?

Nastasya: If you talk about world music industry today, it's the very qualitative production!

I see how appear new fine Artists on the Top! It pleases me.

I like the big live performances on the big Stadiums in Moscow.

HMTV Canada: What are your goals and hopes for the future?

Nastasya: I want to sing about Love in the World, where is not wars, lies and hypocrisy.

HMTV Canada: Before we close our interview do you have anyone you would like to acknowledge or any last words?

Nastasya: Thanks Tina, that you give me such possibility to say to all my friends: I love You! I am very grateful to You! I'll sing for You always. Hugs!!!

Thank You, Nastasya, for allowing HMTV Canada Online Ezine to interview you.

Hollywood Music TV Canada Tina Wilson.

Hollywood Music TV Canada Interviews CEO and President of Hollywood Music TV Steve Bartolone

HMTV Canada: Hi Steve how are you?

Steve: I’m doing great Tina how are you?

HMTV Canada: I’m doing well, thank you. One of the most common questions bands ask me is what kind of music influences and genres does Hollywood Music TV cater to the most?

Steve: We tend to cater to all genres, although most people see our site as being Metal/Hardcore heavy. But the only reason that is because it shows how hard the Metal and Hardcore bands are working to get themselves PR and Media. Mainstream media outlets tend to only promote the flavor of today, Hollywood Music TV works hard to promote the bands and musicians that are highly motivated in generating PR for themselves no matter what genres they are.

HMTV Canada: How long will it take for the bands profiles to become approved at Hollywood Music TV and how can they get their music videos spinning on rotation at our music site?

Steve: I personally approve all profiles for all the bands on Hollywood Music TV. What I have noticed is these bands come and start a profile but don’t complete it, so I approve any and all completed profiles with-in about 24 to 48 hours. We currently have over 3000 bands from around the world on Hollywood Music TV and over 400 in the upload process, but I just don’t have time to remind these bands to come and finish their profiles. And besides, it shows what kind of motivation they will have once become a Hollywood Music registered band. So, get your profiles done guys!  Ha-ha, as for Music Videos, now they need to send us in their Music Videos. And as long as they are somewhat well done and are a Hollywood Music registered band, we will air them on HMTV. We are in the process of the development of phases 2 & 3 of the Hollywoodmusic.tv website, which will then allow bands to upload their own music videos to their profile much like YouTube but also a little different.

HMTV Canada: As a promoter what do you like or dislike about the business? What is involved with promoting and updating Hollywood Music TV?

Steve: I love promoting; I started my first band in 1978 playing guitar and playing Rush covers in a band called Matrix. There was no Internet then so, it was all about making flyers and hitting the streets and handing them out. The one thing I dislike is genera bashing by other genera’s, to me for example there is no reason for a Metal band to bash on an EMO band, because EMO was spawned from Metal and EMO fans are generally Metal fans also. If you are truly trying to get your band out there your goal is to generate fans, right? Well, every time you are heard bashing an EMO band by an EMO fan you are limiting yourself to grabbing some near ears and fans, because you are belittling the EMO fans emotional connection to someone else’s music. Music to me is truly a self-expression and an art, whether you know how to play well or not, does not matter to me! There is not bad music, there are only bad productions!  Concerning promoting and updating with Hollywood Music, you get out of it what you put into it. Our goal is to be recognized through the Music Industry as one of the top 5 websites on the globe, and as a music community company offering PR and Media Entertainment to the best emerging artist from all over the world. We do not encourage bands to only have a Hollywood Music profile, we are looking to brand Hollywood Music TV right alongside the companies we support like Myspace, Purevolume and YouTube.

HMTV Canada: How do you think the internet is helping the music scene today?

Steve: Like I mentioned before, there was no Internet when I was promoting my band. I think the Internet is a perfect tool for allowing bands to get their music out there and heard by millions, but I also think that the Internet creates laziness amongst musicians who allow it to. To believe that by sitting behind a computer and sending out a bulletin to 30,000 friends on Myspace is even going to attract 10% of your fans to come to your show is naive, maybe 1% if you’re lucky. People are obsessed with so called “friends” on Myspace and most of the people there are evaluating you on how many friends you have so they can try and get more friends from you. Bottom line is bands need to be out in the streets communicating with their fans and creating relationships, networking and really building a fan base the old school way also. The tools that Hollywood Music, Myspace and Purevolume have are great tools and a great benefit to bands today, but bands need to understand that they are better off in today’s world of the Internet then bands were when there was no Internet. We feel our job at Hollywood Music TV besides the creation of a great Media outlet for bands, is to empower bands to stop being obsessed about getting a record deal. Stop drinking for one month and save your money to record a great album to the best of your ability, network with a film university and get a Music Video produced, hire a Publicist and Manager, and get on the road and support your music, all along while you continue to work your profiles on the internet. Then a record deal will come from a good solid Independent Record label, you watch.

HMTV Canada: What do you think of internet radio? How do you set up your play list and handle request for Hollywood Music TV Radio? Are there any RIAA issues Hollywood Music TV Radio has to deal with when it comes to spinning Hollywood Music TV Bands?

Steve: Hollywood Music Radio is merely a player that plays the Premium Member artist on Hollywood Music TV. We upgrade bands that we feel are creating a buzz in the industry and evaluate them by profile views, PR post that they release, the quality of their recordings and their professionalism. They show when marketing themselves. Again, we want to empower bands to operate more like a business and realize that there is money out there to be made on their own by doing something they love the most…play their music! It’s the Internet baby!

HMTV Canada: When it comes to Hollywood Music TV concerts, and events how much hard work is involved on gathering our Hollywood Music TV Crew, VJ’s? Do we get a great turn out of people attending these concerts and events that Hollywood Music TV features?

Steve: We work very hard and soon will be doing events with our networking partners such as Monster Energy Drink, Jager, Draven and other’s. Hollywood Music is now becoming a worldwide brand, so our VJ’s are becoming well known on the streets and at concert events, as you have seen in the great popularity of Metal Sanaz. A perfect example is along with her Myspace profile and being out on the streets with Hollywood Music TV promoting bands, Metal Sanaz has made a great name for herself, and we are proud of her and proud to have helped. When it comes to events, we co-produce events with partners, and we are also invited to cover events by the record labels and PR firms we work with such as Ozzfest, Vans Warped Tour, Family Values, Sounds of the Underground and 100’s of Independent Production. This takes a lot of work from the Hollywood Music Crew to produce a top-quality production for HMTV

HMTV Canada: Steve what are your hopes and goals for us at Hollywood Music TV? Things you would like to see improvement on or any advice that will help our crew with any changes to come in the future as our music site grows bigger and better by the day?

Steve: Our number 1 goal is to have the Hollywood Music Brand as a global recognition, and known as a company that is professional and employ’s Highly Motivated Individuals that have one passion in life. And that is to become successful in their chosen profession while supporting musicians all over the world. We will continue to branch out in other music markets, bring a little bit of Hollywood Music TV to your home town, and always growing and developing new features and opportunity while keeping our eyes on the highly daily changing Internet world.

HMTV Canada: Last question does you have a favorite music, Artist? Is there anyone you would like to acknowledge give shout outs to and any last words?

Steve: The only shoot outs I would like to throw out there is to the whole entire Hollywood Music Staff and crew from the Street Team Members to the VJ’s and, thank you so much for all your hard work. As for Artist, I am such a huge music fan that I cannot single out any particular bands, but I think the ones who know me and know what I do, also know how I feel about them. So, to all you bands out there that are working your ass off for your career, get involved with Hollywood Music TV, I can guarantee you that the Hollywood Music Crew will work their ass off for you, so why do it alone?

HMTV Canada: Steve thank you for taking the time to complete HMTV’s Canada Online Ezine interview. You Rock.

Steve: Hollywood Music TV is the best!

Brought to you by Hollywood Music TV Canada Tina

Hollywood Music TV Canada - Tina Interviews Fuelhead Music

HMTV Canada:  Hi FuelHead how are you doing and what is the weather like in Sweden is it starting to get colder there?

Fuelhead: Hey Tina and cheers all you guys at HMTV for interest in us Swedish metalheads! :-)

Oh girl, right now are turbulent crazy times for us!

Me and Andras (lead vocals & bass) have decided to take FUELHEAD

to the next level at any cost so, therefore, are we actually as we speak

looking for both a new drummer and a new record label.

We do have our sights already on a totally awesome drummer (who happens to love our little band, he he) so, the creativity is actually floating over here!

Our Swedish record label had never the right tools to reach out

to the market outside Sweden and we have always aimed for the market over at you guys so it

was a natural step for all of us to split ways!

This will be awesome in the end and hopefully we will find a label soon that can promote FUELHEAD the right way in the U.S and Canada.

Oh well, the weather is getting perfect for sitting in the studio and write.

It’s getting dark and cold and it’s just about the same as in up north Canada, I guess.

HMTV Canada: First of all, my daughter, Gracie would like to give Fuelhead a shout out "Fuelhead Rocks!". Gracie's favorite band is Fuelhead.  She thinks your bike hobby rules. Gracie rides her own dirt bike that's her hobby; she is attending college working at getting her degree in Nursing. She asks how long has Fuelhead been into motorbikes and do you tour all over Sweden riding your motorbikes?

Fuelhead: We already LOVE your daughter! Bikes & FUELHEAD! Cannot ask for more!

I used to work for many years in taking care of elderly people so nursing is a great way to learn what is important in life!

We have always been in to bikes and cars to for that matter.

I am a huge Corvette fan and will ASAP buy me an old Corvette C3. Anyway, no we don t ride to the gigs.

We don t want to cancel the gigs.

We (me and Andras) ride old choppers with hard seats, rigid frames and that gives us sore asses

and we need a lot of breaks + that Andras old BSA is not the most trust worthy one so riding is not an option yet, ha-ha!

HMTV Canada: How did Fuelhead make it to the cover of Chopper Head Magazine?

Will your band be featuring your motorbikes in Fuelhead's Music Videos in the future?

Fuelhead: We found each other through our myspace/fuelheadmusic site and we kind of hit it off right away so to speak. :-)

They dug our style and our bikes and we dug the fact that they had a true heart for the underground culture so we arranged the photoshoot over here and that was it!

Pretty awesome considering that our debut is not released more than digital over in America.

Hell yeah!! Bikes is our passion so we will most definitely use them in some way in a video later on.

HMTV Canada: What inspired Fuelhead to come up with the very emotional music video "Little Ones" and the powerful music video that rocked my socks off "Wanna' Be Like You"? Is there a story behind each of these music videos?

Fuelhead: Cool that you like them!

Yeah, it’s a story behind both of them.

We took a wild shot when we released the video "Little Ones" first since it’s the softest song on the album and lyric-wise the most emotional one. We just had to make it true to the lyrics (the song is about abused children) and not just make the regular "playing live, babes & bikes video."

Nothing wrong with those videos of course but we do have something to say (usually, :-), as well as playing hard.

But for showcasing FUELHEAD maybe we would have released them in reverse order since "Wanna Be Like You" is shot live and shows the side of FUELHEAD most people will see and hear in the future.

HMTV Canada: Tell us about your recent mini tour with the bands Outshine (Sweden) and Supermonkey (Norway), did you have a great turn out of fans attend your last gig? How are people currently reacting to Fuelhead’s music?

Fuelhead: Oh, we had so much fun on the tour! Those guys are the best!

Outshine is as we speak on a 1-month North America tour now and our plan is to join them on their next America tour next year!

People are usually in a little bit of shock after they have heard us live, since we sound bigger live than the 3 piece we are.

No, we do not use any backtracks. The trick is that me and Andras share the lead vocal to make it big and we tune and play our instruments a little bit different so the sound gets thicker.

We sound like a 5-piece band in just 3 people!

It’s really cool though to see people’s reactions but we have always been a power-trio so that is all we know anyway.

HMTV Canada: I checked out your myspace www.myspace.com/fuelheadmusic blog to get an update on the latest Fuelhead news and noticed the link for Club Lipz. Many thanks to DJ Kiel, she took really great pics of Fuelhead. According to your blog Fuelhead has a beard competition between Jimmy and Palle, can you tell us more about your beard contest?

Fuelhead: Oh man it is really plain male stupidity; we shared a few pints one day and made this stupid bet that we’d grow a full beard over the summer and the one who shave first gives the other one 10 chocolate bars.

Well just a bet over some chocolate bars is itself stupid but now it’s way beyond that...I never knew how fast it grows and how much beard I actually have.

And I refuse to lose the bet to a stubborn bloody ex-drummer, ha-ha! Especially, not now when we have decided to part ways with him (There’s no hard feeling about the split I should say as well, he is still working for FUELHEAD behind the scenes doing the websites and stuff so it’s all cool).

Anyway, we look like freaking Zakk Wylde now and the bet runs out the 30th of September.

After that, it’s ok to shave and no one wins.

The funny thing about it is that the girls hate it but all the guys think it s totally awesome!!

Our local newspaper here did a spread about it so everyone knows about it as well, ha-ha.

HMTV Canada: Can you tell us your plans about your upcoming new album you will be writing and recording shortly? What are your hopes and goals for your new upcoming album? Will you be covering international tours in the future?

Fuelhead: We have sat really high expectations on ourselves to make or break on the next album!

Our debut is pretty slick production and playing-wise, and the songs I guess comes more to their right when we play live, so the next one will be a lot more unpolished & brutal but still the focus is to write the best songs we can!

It is and it’s always been about to write the best possible songs our hearts and souls can squeeze out!

If the songs are good enough, which I know they are, no one can stop us.

The goal is to tour international and make a decent living on the music!

Since we have just become unsigned, the first step will be to find a new label and take it from there.

HMTV Canada: How long has the Fuelhead band family been together, how did you become connected to make music, what are your musical influences, who writes your songs and does Fuelhead have a record label?

Fuelhead: Ha, ha I love the question!

Nope NO label right now then ha-ha!

Anyone knows of a good label, do not hesitate to let us know.

HMTV has the links to us

Me and Andras have been friends since Jesus walked the earth in shorts.

We were introduced to each other by mutual friends’ years and years ago and since we share the same passion for music so it’s always been natural for us to play together!

Jimmie was in the band since we started in 99, and he is and will always be one of my closest friends even after now that he s left the band!

I write 95% of the songs myself and Andras do the rest.

All song ideas are then put in and slaughtered by the FUELHEAD machinery and only the best possible songs slip out.

I am getting quite good at killing my darlings these days.

Influences; I love brilliant songwriters as our domestic Max Martin but I grew up

with ABBA. The songs girl, the songs and the girls, he-he timeless.

My turning point as a rocker was then my sister bought me "Creatures of the night" and "Destroyer" with KISS for X-mas.  My current favorite is Rammstein!

Let’s put it simple, we are influenced by heavy music like Pantera, Stone Sour. Mostly American bands but also Scandianavian bands like InFlames, Mnemic and Soilwork.

Music with attitude and great melodies!

HMTV Canada: Can you tell us about Fuelhead’s own unique style of music and how your music has evolved since you first began playing together? What kind of recording environment do you have and what are your rehearsals generally like?

Fuelhead: Well as I said, we tune our instruments a bit differently so that’s probably one of the things that gives us a sound unlike others to start with.

We are totally suckers for hooks in songs weather it may be a guitar-riff, a chorus, a solo or anything.

It’s nothing unique in our way to write, I guess but our search for the perfect riff or perfect chorus makes

FUELHEAD a very special blend, I think!

The music is getting heavier by each year and the new songs are no exception.

The next album will be a brutal but beautiful piece of art. Trust me!

We are fortunate enough to have a recording studio very close to our home.

Thomas who owns the studio (called Carlsoro Studio) is our "fourth member" and has been involved in our band since the start!

He is the absolute best and he is a very important part of FUELHEAD!

Well who knows what our rehearsals with our next drummer will be like.

Crazy and highly productive I hope, ha-ha!

HMTV Canada: How do you like our music site at Hollywood Music TV? What advice do you have for people who want to form their own bands today?

Fuelhead: If it was not for guys like you at Hollywood Music TV, many bands would not survive!

We LOVE your site!!

I plan to spend a lot of time in there later on this winter, and for people who want to form or already have a band, be creative and have FUN while you do it! Do not be afraid of doing something different but remember that an image is only cool if it’s true to yourself.

Otherwise, it’s just looking silly and the most important thing, the songs.

A good song outlives any bloody image in the world.

HMTV Canada: Is there anyone you would like to acknowledge or any last words?

Fuelhead: I would like to thank you Tina for the support in us! We truly salute you for it and for everyone else. Check us out and spread the word!! Thanks for reading this interview!

Hollywood Music TV Canada Tina Interviews Cyclone Record's Holly Woods

HMTV Canada:  Hi Brad, how are you doing? I understand it’s been a

busy year so far for Cyclone Records.

Brad: This has been by far the busiest year for Cyclone Records. In the

first year, it was all about establishing our name in the industry and

developing a reputation for integrity and hard work.  In our second year, we

moved on to build the infrastructure through developing contacts in all

aspects of the business and securing distribution agreements for our artists

here, abroad and online.  Now, in our third year, we can be more selective

about the artists we work with. Through the reputation we are building, we are attracting more and more internationally

known artists that are interested in working with us.  This is the greatest

accomplishment, the greatest compliment and the greatest reward for

everything we have put into the label thus far.

HMTV Canada:  Brad can you elaborate about Cyclone Records a brief

history of your record company?

Brad:  Cyclone Records was founded in 1986 but truly began in early 2005 as

a means for unsigned artists to be heard through regionally specific

compilation CDs.  Our first several releases covered compilations of artists

in the folk/country, rock and metal genres.  Then, having worked with about

40 or so of those artists, we began to see which ones truly shone and had

the type of business sense and vision that we were looking for.  From that

came bands such as Wormbox and Creature Republic.  The music business being

what it is today, required us to don many hats so we do a wide variety of

services for bands in the roster and otherwise such as CD manufacturing,

graphic design, web design, record production, photography, distribution,

promotion.  As the industry changes, we will have to continually reinvent

ourselves if we want to stay current and provide value added services to our

HMTV Canada:  What s it like running your label?

Brad: Surprisingly, this is the toughest question you have asked.  I think

because there is no specific answer every day is a totally different one

from the day before it.  And that is what makes this job so amazing.  Most of

what I do is via computer from sourcing artists, communicating with them,

producing their records, getting copies pressed, promoting them, etc. I love

the variety and am always anxious to check my email every day as it is a good

meter as to how I am doing. The other upside is I get to rub shoulders with

many of the artists whom I have idolized over the years and who inspired me to

get into the music business initially.  Many are now my close friends and

have helped me along the way. A great example of this at work is my recent

signing of Steve Negus of the prog rock band Saga.  I have always respected

Steve s drumming and was inspired by him in the early days when I was

learning to drum myself.

HMTV Canada:  Cyclone Records is different than any other record

company a "Promotion With A Twist".  Brad how do promote your Musical Artist

and what do you have to offer for new unsigned independent bands?

Brad: Firstly, we don t focus on geographic boundaries.  Most labels tend to

work an artist in their own locale and then expand outwards.  Our focus is

international.  Canada represents 2% of the international market and CD

sales dropped another 35% last year in Canada.  It is not practical to expend

our efforts on something that is not going to give us the largest return.

Also, bands will typically be working in their own cities and towns and will

support and build their local fan base through live shows.  We promote

artists through whatever we feel is the best, most effective and most wide

reaching means.  We always try to stay on the leading edge of trends and

technologies and therefore prefer online interviews/features/reviews as

opposed to print, podcasts as opposed to terrestrial radio and more and more

so, online retailers as opposed to physical CD sales.

HMTV Canada:  One Artist's that caught my interest in your list is

Holly Woods how did you meet Holly of Holly Woods the former Toronto Band?

Brad: It’s an interesting twist how this project came together.  I knew Scott

Kreyer back in the early 80s when he was keyboardist for the band Toronto

and he worked on producing a band I was in at the time.  After Toronto

disbanded, Scott moved to the US in about 1985 or so and we lost touch.

Periodically, I'd try and find Scott to see how things were with him but

never had much luck.  Then just before Christmas 2006, I found Scott on

MySpace.com and we began talking about what we've been up to over the past

20 odd years.  When I mentioned that I run Cyclone Records, he mentioned the

album that he and Holly Woods had recorded in 1986 after Toronto had split

but had never been able to release.  So, after numerous emails, phone calls

and a few meetings in Niagara Falls and upstate New York, we were able to

reach an agreement. I was always a big fan of Toronto and am honored to be

part of bringing this part of Holly to the world.

HMTV Canada:  Toronto was one of my favorite bands growing up as a

kid my friends and I would turn up Q107 Radio when they aired Your Daddy

Don't Know Track.    What happened to the original band Toronto? Who were

the band members and Toronto's record label back then?

Holly: The band broke up in early 1985. Band members were: Brian Allen

Allen-lead/rhythm guitar/songwriter, Sheron Alton lead/rhythm

guitar/songwriter, Scott Kreyer-keyboards/songwriter, Gary LaLonde-bass

guitar, Barry Connors-drums, and ME, Holly Woods-lead vocals/songwriter.

The record label was Solid Gold Records.

HMTV Canada:  Holly's what were your musical influences with your

Toronto band and your musical influences with your new project?

Holly: My influences run the gamut from blues to jazz to rock to fusion.

HMTV Canada:  Have these influences changed with the project? Who

are the current band members in Holly Woods?

Holly:  In the studio, there was Scott Kreyer and a bunch of session

musicians.  Band members change with each tour. My influences change and

broaden every day.

HMTV Canada:  Holly I'm curious who had written the songs for your

former Toronto Band in the past and the new Holly Woods?

Holly: Brian Allen was the principal songwriter, but Scott Kreyer, Sheron

Alton, and myself wrote many of our songs as well. For our new project,

Scott Kreyer and I write the material.

HMTV Canada: What are the main themes or inspiration for most of

your songs? Holly do you ever write lyrics based on personal experiences,

inspirations, worst experiences while performing or travelling as a band?

Holly: My inspirations are from everything I have witnessed, or have lived

through, as it is with Scott Kreyer as well.

HMTV Canada: Are you a member of any music organizations? Holly do

you have a main website where the fans can access your former band Toronto

and your new project?

Holly: www.cyclonerecords.ca.

Just Google "TORONTO" or "Holly Woods and Toronto" for any other sites. Both

Scott and I are members of SOCAN (the Society of Authors and Composers) that

administer our performing rights royalties.

HMTV Canada: Holly according to your bio in 1986 the new album by

Holly Woods never saw the light of day can you elaborate on this at that

time what were the challenges Holly Woods experienced?

Holly: The record company, Solid Gold Records, had gone bankrupt, so the new

project could not get any attention from other record companies, for fear of

the bankruptcy red tape that surrounded myself and Scott Kreyer. In 2006,

Scott got together with Brad Trew of Cyclone records, and together they put

together a plan to release the songs we had in the vault from 1986. Now it's

here!

HMTV Canada: Do Holly Woods have any remixes or are working on any

at the moment? Compilation experiences good or bad ones?

Holly: Not as this time, but we have plans for the near future to continue

our songwriting collaboration. There is also some talk of a karaoke version

of the album as a treat for my really dedicated fans.

HMTV Canada: Just curious Holly how did promote your Toronto band

through the media back in the day when you started out in your music career?

Holly: That was all handled by the management and the record company in

those days. Of course, the internet was not around so everything was done in

the traditional sense of sending out albums to radio stations, and sending

out press kits to newspapers and magazines.  A lot of it was done by our management spending hours upon hours every day on the phone.

HMTV Canada: Holly what do you think of the Internet today as a

means of promoting your band Holly Woods? Does the band find the internet an

effective marketing tool?

Holly: The internet is great. I feel closer to the fans because I can catch

up with everyone in just a second via e mail or instant message.  It has

bridged the distance gap for our fans all over the world...IT's GREAT!!

HMTV Canada: Have you performed any live shows or have any upcoming

music venues?

Holly: All plans are in the process of getting the proper venues, the best

players and the very best tour dates we can possibly bring together for a

successful New Year!!!  There have been some opportunities so far but we

are not entertaining any ideas that don t fit best with the band and what we

hope to achieve from the tour.

HMTV Canada: Holly In the past what has been your favorite and

least favorite music venues?

Holly: I love them all because the fans are so great, but the older theatres

are closest to my heart. The acoustics are great because they were built for

live entertainment.

HMTV Canada: Holly what do you like about today s music scene in

Canada and do you have a favorite of music genre you listen to frequently?

Holly: The music scene is always top notch in Canada. It’s always encouraging

to see local artists continue on and find success internationally.  I adore

the blues, but I try to keep my mind open and listen to most everything I

can.

HMTV Canada: What are some of the highlights of Holly Woods "Live

it Up” where can the fans access the CD?

Holly: I love the entire CD, and you can order it and get info at

www.myspace/hollywoodstoronto or www.cyclonerecords.ca. There is also

distribution to stores across North America, the UK and Europe and tons of

online retail outlets such as iTunes, Napster, eMusic, etc.

HMTV Canada Tina: 20. Can we request Holly Woods music on our local radio

station Q 107?

Holly: Sure!

HMTV Canada: Holly, what are your hopes in the future?

Holly: More recording, songwriting, and touring!

HMTV Canada: How do you like our music site at

www.hollywoodmusic.tv?

Holly: I love it!

HMTV Canada: Holly What advice can provide for young female fronted

bands that wish to form their own bands in the Canadian Music Scene today?

Holly: STAY FOCUSED. And love what you do it will come through in your

music.  The industry has changed so much and is much more accepting of

female vocalists so there is no time like the present.

HMTV Canada:  Before we close off our online interview.  Holly is

there any one that you would like to acknowledge or any last words?

Holly: Definitely my fans everywhere.  I love you all.  Also, Scott and Brad

for bringing this album to life after so long.  Lastly, have a wonderful

Christmas and a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR, and don't forget to LIVE IT UP!!!

Thank you, Brad and Holly, for taking the time to complete HMTV Canada's

HMTV Canada Online Ezine Interviews Irisha

 www.last.fm/music/Irisha?setlang=en

HMTV Canda: Hi Irisha How are you?

Irisha: I’m fine, thanks!

HMTV Canada: Where are you from and how did you get started in music?

Irisha: I am from Tajikistan. In when I child I learned to play the accordion in a musical school. I started to sing after a school contest when we moved to Russian. I remember I had a dog Bim, he would sit down in front of me and sing along, while I was getting ready to the contest.

HMTV Canada: Are you attending professional music classes currently?

Irisha: I am graduating from Music Academy this year. My specialty is a classical vocal. So, I attend professional classes every day, but I dream to work in show business. There, is very interesting.

HMTV Canada: How is school working out with your time schedule?

Irisha: I usually have vocal classes for an hour and a half every day and a three-hour opera class twice a week. The rest of the time I try to learn a modern vocal manner with Askura_Alexander's help.

HMTV Canada: Do you spend lots of time rehearsing before recordings or live performances?

Irisha: Yes, I spend a lot of time at rehearsals for opera classes. Now I am doing the part of Nicklaus in the opera "Goffman Fairy-Tales" by Offenbach. So now I have is the period of very intensive and hard world my musical producer Alexander. As recordings I like to go to sleep and wake up with the music to the new song while preparing and improvise while begin recorded.

HMTV Canda: Are you working with other artists currently?

Irisha: In classical vocal music only. I devote much time to opera as this year is my last year at the Academy and it is a very important and serious one.

HMTV Canada: Who are your musical influences?

Irisha: Heavenly forces usually...))))))))

HMTV Canada: What inspires you to write your songs?

Irisha: I don't write songs myself. They are written for me by Askura Alexander Shkuratov, I only sing them. I am happy, that he composes nice songs personally for me.

HMTV Canada: What do you express in your lyrics?

Irisha: Lyrics of songs, it's Askura_Alexander's thoughts. I like his lyrics. The main and most important thing for me in music it is a world with Human emotions. Music itself adds emotions while singing I try to express the truth. I'd like people to believe the feeling the singer is a bridge to them. In my case it is Love.))))))

HMTV Canada: What musical instruments do you use to put your lyrics to a music melody?

Irisha: Only my musical producer can answer on this theme, he works with my songs. For me a creation of a musical material is a "dark forest."

HMTV Canada: Do you prefer live or studio recording of your music?

Irisha: The studio for me is the main stage. There can be it there is the most important and responsible period in my creativity.

As the recorded music is listened to thousand people.

If to make successful record, you have more chances of success of a live performance.

HMTV Canada: Do you have a home studio?

Irisha: No, I have not a home studio. I love my beautiful ancient grand piano.

HMTV Canada: Any new recordings or songs in the works?

Irisha: I've already heard the music of a new ballad Alexander is writing for me. I hope to start working on it soon. I shall give you to know about it, when this song will be ready.

HMTV Canada: How is the local music scene in your home-town?

Irisha: In Moscow is thousands various stages. All scenes to not list. But I sometimes prefer to sing in church chorus of one of cathedrals.

It helps me to be cleared spiritually. It helps me in a life and creativity.

HMTV Canada: Do you have any live performances coming up?

Irisha: I am working on my first album at the moment, so I am going to start concerts only after finishing it.

Can't get enough Sugar Blues much love and thank you for the opportunity for allowing HMTV Canada to interview you.

HMTV Canada Online Ezine interviews a Great Solo Artist, Askura Alexander Shkuratov

HMTV Canada: Hi Alex How are you doing?

Askura Alexander Shkuratov:  The standard answer to this question: I'm OK! Yes, everything is all right, but with one notation:  the life cannot be completely ideal. Each person, and especially the Artist, answering that I'm ok, actually has in a life many problems and obstacles in a way.  I'm OK.

HMTV Canada: 1. There is so much I want to cover in this interview. Let s begin with my first question when did your music career start? Have you been a self-producing solo artist throughout your music career?

Askura Alexander Shkuratov: At fifteen-year age I have touched Music for the first time. I have paid attention that she has slightly smiled to me. She has taken my hand and I have gone behind her, as the in love young man to the beautiful girl. I love her to this day. Music is a voice of the God. I am always devoted to the supreme spiritual feelings and I trust them all life.

My professional career began, when I have organized "Attraction" group. We were very popular in the USSR and in other countries.11 solo albums in the company the Melody have been released.

Album 1-st English in USSR. (Classic Rock 80-th).  We opened the doors to the Uncertainty.

The first album in English in former USSR! "Attraction" has toured a lot throughout USSR and Europe. In 1989, a group was representing USSR on the international festival of pop rock music Midem-89 held in Cannes (France).

My Rock-ballad "The land of sand" was on the top the chart on Swedish Radio (Stockholm) and was holding first positions in the hit parades of various European radio stations.

HMTV Canada: 2. Have you had opportunities to work with other bands or musicians? Do you own your Record Label? What’s it like running your label? Can you tell us your story in the scene?

Askura Alexander Shkuratov: I worked and I continue to work with many musicians and popular Russian singers. I work with the Russian cinema, but I dream to write music for world cinema.

I cooperated with famous American composer Mike Stoller (songwriter of the legendary Elvis Presley) on a joint project of Russian and American composers under the name “Music is stronger than words."

While composing music for the documentary film about Israel in 1994, I have met a world-famous Ofra Haza and her manager Alony Betsalel. Later on, they have introduced me to the Europe music market.

After, my solo album “From nowhere" was published in Europe. It is the first album of project Askura (World).

I am the Independent Artist and consequently I am an independent label. But I am open to cooperation with the record companies which can publish my music, for example - all project Askura World.

Long time I worked on a scene. It is very difficult to tell to you about all tours, adventures, successes... It was all so floridly, interestingly, but in Russia there has come adverse time for musicians and true creativity.

I gradually began to turn to the multi-instrumentalist.  I have the studio; I compose music, texts, and arrangements.

I release an end-product. It is pleasant for me; I create music face to face with God!  All my ideas, a sound, are given birth in me and embodied by me.

HMTV Canada: Alex while visiting your main web at www.askuramusic.com, I was very much impressed with the Self Production of your Great Masterpiece of Music Projects; the different music genres ranging from; World, Ethno, Pop, Rock, Progressive, Meditative, Christian, Rap, Techno and Trash. Can you collaborate on your Great Masterpieces of Albums from 2005-2007?

Askura Alexander Shkuratov: Our world is diverse and consequently it is interesting for us. Also, the person is multipolar essence.

I cannot formulate my process of creativity in details; probably it is very complex combination of terrestrial and divine feelings. I live in Music from within. I feel her in all her genres. I feel musical instruments sound; I know symphonic arrangement though I have the diploma on specialization choral conducting. With pleasure I accept fashionable musical directions, but I not reject old school.

I do not know how in one person many styles harmonize. For example: symphonic music (album "Recovery"); Techno (album "Porridge"); Rock, Trash (album " Power and Glory "); Pop, R*B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Soul (albums "Night Moscow, It was in Hamburg"); World, Ethno, Progressive (Albums from the project Askura World: "From Nowhere, Enjoy my God, Sight from Russia, To the Light") and so on. I respect all styles in music if it is made by the Master qualitatively and with internal energy.

When I work - Time stay out. There is a stream of energy in which my creative life flows. This stream cannot be stopped, as also I have no right to stand on a place. It is Great Pleasure - to be in process of creativity outside of Time, outside of Space.

I have made the courageous decision in the life.  I have composed an album "10 Revelations" in which all texts are taken from "New Testament," and it is words of our God Jesus Christ.  In an album are used many styles: Christian, art-rap, world, funk, rock and etc.

"Askura World" it is the dominant project for me, because in this process I use set of styles and ethnic variety of our world.

I receive the big spiritual and emotional pleasure when I create compositions for this project.

Probably Someone has told me silently:  Alex, come on, concentrate your creativity on project "Askura World", that to make a Present to all people of a planet.

I think that during the period with 2005 on 2007, I have created important albums for myself.

http://www.askuramusic.com/my_music_eng/

Now I create the following album for the project Askura World.

HMTV Canada: Can you tell us about Askura Alexander s Shkuratovs Boutique of Music?

Askura Alexander Shkuratov: On a Boutique s page are placed only my albums. Everyone who wants to get my music, can come in Askura's Boutique and to do the own choice. On pages of albums, you will see the banners of shops, such, as iTunes, eMusic, Rhapsody, MSN, Yahoo, etc. There you can get any my album. Also, you can listen demo tracks, read the annotation of an album and so on.  Welcome to Askura's Boutique!

http://www.askuramusic.com/boutique_of_music_eng/

HMTV Canada:  The Creative Projects of Askura Alexander Music is very interesting filled with the beautiful sounds of two other Solo Artist Irisha, and Nastasya. How did you discover Irisha and Nastasya? Do you write and produce all their great music? Where can we buy their songs?

Askura Alexander Shkuratov: I work, as the musical producer with many Artists in Russia.

But I would like to present these two diamonds NASTASYA and IRISHA on the world musical market.

With Nastasya we met by accident. My friends came to me to listen to my new album and with them was NASTASYA.

For the first time I have heard her very beautiful original voice, when she sang together with my melodies. I liked this voice and I have suggested to her to sing a demo track. Unexpectedly for all and for me she sang so how I would like.

Here our first acquaintance has taken place. In this moment I have understood, I opened the new talented singer. Now we continue work on creation of her solo album.

NASTASYA dreams about the career of a singer.

IRISHA. She has come to me with the request to create for her a musical material. She studies in State Conservatory of M.I.Glinkis name of an academic vocals class.

But IRISHA has decided to try herself in the other quality. Now we have the record of her solo album. I think, it is the interesting alloy of the academic voice and a commercial musical sound.

For NASTASYA and IRISHA I am the author, the teacher, the musical producer...

I think, that good record companies will offer to them contracts.

I hope, their creative career will be successful.

If somebody want to get MP3 tracks, it possible to do on their Pages:

HMTV Canada:  Alex I noticed that your Music Masterpieces are in Video Production. Do you self-direct and create all your Musical Theatrical Productions? What is the story behind your video Nightmares about?

Askura Alexander Shkuratov: In 1991 I have established music theater "Thriller" and start to work on the big show "Nightmare". The troupe was arranged from musicians of the "Attraction", stunt men and dancers. A wide selection of decoration work was done including scene decor, original costumes, moving constructions and flying mystic personages. The latest technologies were used in production. I have personally executed all the script, music and production work. The show took place in 1992 in the sport complex Olympic in Moscow. This show was broadcasted over the Russian national TV channel, and national television of Israel, Germany, and Japan. You can come to my personal site on a page "Show" where you will see full information about this gigantic show. I think, it very interesting. http://www.askuramusic.com/show_eng/

HMTV Canada:  Alex have you had the opportunity to work with other celebrities in the past or any important Professional Entertainers and Media PR in the US or Canada?

Askura Alexander Shkuratov: Yes, I had creative contacts with world stars, had joint performances with them; had many contacts with foreign mass-media.

In Moscow I worked with such known artists, as Mike Stoller, Cindi Lauper, Ian Gillan, Doro Pesh,  Roxette , etc. I was well familiar with Ofra Haza and I am very grateful to her for support of my first album from project "Askura World".

On big festivals In Moscow, I worked together on a scene with some known world Artists.

Long time I cooperated with American company, SHURE "Attraction" group advertised their production in Russia.

Tele-channels "FUJI TELEVISION" and "SUPERCHANNEL" made documentary film about my creativity and stages of creation of my show "Nightmare."

SNN did some reporting s on my creativity.

Purposeful promotion of me as the Artist in territory of America and Canada was not. Only now I began promotion of my music to the World, I hope that this process will be successful.

HMTV Canada:  Alex when it comes to religion and philosophy in the world today what is your opinion of the psychosis of humanity? How can inspirational music fill the void to heal and comfort the human soul?

Askura Alexander Shkuratov: Endless sources of the mass information have loaded mankind from head to foot. The person, being in a captivity of infinite mass of the information cannot find for itself the true information. It is similar to dreadful delirium.

People absorb all successively, without analysis. It concerns and to music. The eating of spiritual food should be carefully analyzed to let in to the consciousness the useful and preventive information.

The style of my music (I speak about project "ASKURA WORLD") differs that in it there is a space for meditation and comprehension of your individual in this world.

I am a Christian, but in the compositions, I use breath of all world religions and beauty of variety of cultures of different nationalities.

I advise to people: take kindly to yourself carefully. Do not load itself the negative information which withdraws you from true.

I address to Heavens at creation of music; I try to fill my Music by Divine Energy.

I hope and even is confident, that Askura's music will help to lift your head up and to gaze into Heavens.

I have sayings on this theme. If it is interestingly, please go on my personal site on page "Sayings": http://www.askuramusic.com/sayings_eng/

HMTV Canada:  Alex what is your favorite Aphorism saying about music?

Askura Alexander Shkuratov: My favorite aphorism it is:  Music is divine language of dialogue between people.

HMTV Canada:   Askura Alexander Shkuratov it was a pleasure and honor interviewing you. I learned a great deal from your main website www.askuramusic.com very educational.

Thank You, You Rock. HMTV Canada.

Askura Alexander Shkuratov: I am very grateful that you have given to me an opportunity to tell about itself. I am glad, that you have interest to my creativity.

In spite of the fact that we live in the different ends of our planet, I have an opportunity to speak to the world thanks to you.

I was sincere with you and I liked your questions.

Let music to continue our conversation forever!
